VISITOR TEE TIMES

No. 1 Course
Weekdays – 10.48 to 12.00 and 14.30 to 16.00
Weekends – 10.56 and 11.04* and 14.56 to 15.28

* In the two months of January and December 2017 there will be no weekend visitor tee times on No. 1.

No. 2 and No. 3 Courses
Weekdays and weekends – There are no time restrictions on these courses for visitors however fourballs are not allowed until 9.04am

JUNIORS

Juniors who are under 18 at the time of play receive reduced green fee rates at a rate of 50% discount from the full rate (not seasonal offers.)

VOUCHERS

In 2017 the Club accepts Open Fairways cards and Green Free 2 for 1 vouchers (www.greenfree.co.uk) on the following days/courses.

Course No. 2 - Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Course No. 3 - Monday to Friday

Subject to availability. This is based on the full rate (not seasonal offers.) Round rates only. Vouchers must be presented on the date of play to received the discounted rate.

Booking Conditions for 2017

The terms and conditions below apply to bookings made via the Bookings Office via telephone or email. Different terms and conditions apply to online bookings made for Courses No. 2 and No. 3. These are outlined within the online booking module. (Course No. 1 cannot be booked online.)

Course No. 1:

Deposit

A per person deposit must be paid to secure a booking. This is due to be paid within 7 days of making your booking after which the tee time will be released unless payment has been made. Any bookings made within 14 days of the date of play will be due payment in full at the time of booking. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or BACS payments. We do not accept American Express. Credit only with prior written agreement.

Deposits are not transferable between dates and courses.

Deposits will be refunded in full more than two months prior to the date of play. Within 2 months there will be no refund.

Balance of Fees

The final balance is due 14 days prior to play or at the time of booking if made within 14 days of the date of play. If the balance is not paid by this time then the tee time will be released and any monies paid for this booking will be lost. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or BACS payments. We do not accept American Express. Credit only with prior written agreement. If paying by BACS all bank charges must be paid.

Changes to Numbers

Any changes to numbers after the final payment has been received are non-refundable.

Courtesy of the Course

If your booking includes courtesy golf, this must be advised at the time of booking. Failure to make a request in advance of the date of play will result in the full green fees being charged.  One round per calendar month. You must also bring your accreditation with you on the date of play.

Vouchers

If your booking includes a voucher please bring it with you on the day. The voucher must be presented on the date of play.

Cancellations

We regret that we cannot offer refunds due to delayed/cancelled flights or travel plans, personal injury or illness. We recommend that you have travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

Weather Conditions

Only in the event that the course is closed on the date of play will the Club refund green fees or transfer them to another date. If a transfer is permitted, golf must be played before 31/12/17. (The courses do not normally close for windy conditions.)

Handicaps

Visitors wishing to play No. 1 must provide evidence of handicap with a maximum for gentleman of 24 and for ladies of 30.

R&A

The R & A Rules of Golf plus published local rules should be observed.

Pairing Up

The Club reserves the right to pair visitors up in tee times without prior advice.

Time of Play

The Club reserves the right on the day of play to adjust the time of play due to weather conditions, pace of play or situations outside the control of the Club. The Club will endeavour to keep the visitor updated with any changes.

ARRIVAL & PARKING

Course No. 1

Please park in the Members’ Clubhouse Car Park, on the left as you enter Gullane from the Edinburgh/Aberlady direction.

If you are entering the Clubhouse from the car park you will enter via the Bag Drop area at the rear of the building. This entrance requires a code to be input on a keypad for entry. Please see your booking confirmation letter for the code.

Courses No. 2 and No. 3

Please park in the Visitors’ Clubhouse Car Park, on the right as you enter Gullane from Edinburgh/Aberlady direction.

CHECK IN

Course No. 1

Please check in at the Members’ Clubhouse on your arrival, before going to the Starter 10 minutes prior to your tee-time.

Courses No. 2 and No. 3

Please check in at the Visitors’ Clubhouse on your arrival, before going to the Starter 10 minutes prior to your tee-time.

THE CLUBHOUSES

The Club has two Clubhouses. For visitors playing No. 1 please use the Members’ Clubhouse and for visitors playing No. 2 and No. 3 please use the Visitors’ Clubhouse.

Everyone is expected to be smartly and tidily dressed both on the Courses and in the Clubhouses.

GOLF PROTOCOL

Slow play will not be tolerated. The Club supports the R&A guidance on the time that games should take: 2 ball - 3 hours 10 minutes; 3 ball – 3 hours 30 minutes; 4 ball – 3 hours 50 minutes. If you fall a hole behind the game in front, and are holding up those behind, you must call the following game through. Bag sharing is not permitted. Divots must be replaced, pitch marks repaired and bunkers raked.

TOILETS

The Reception and Starters will advise of the location of the toilets on the courses when you check in. The codes to enter the buildings are on the scorecards.

ALCOHOLIC DRINKS

Alcoholic Drinks are not allowed on the courses. Any person found in possession of alcoholic drinks will be removed from the course.

SECRETARIES/ORGANISERS

Are responsible for the behaviour of their groups. Please ensure that your members are aware of the Club rules prior to play. The Club reserves the right to remove any person behaving in an inappropriate manner on the course or in the Clubhouses.

LIABILITY

Visitors, their vehicles and any clothing and equipment are on Club property at their own risk and the Club has no liability. The Club has the right to refuse entry or the removal of a visitor at its absolute discretion.
