Rental Items and Caddies 

TIMINGS OF RENTAL ITEMS 

The Pro Shop offers rental items from 8am - 6pm, 7 days a week.

CLUB HIRE

Gullane Pro Shop offers the very best in club hire from TaylorMade Golf.  Rental sets are available for both men and women across the brand new 2023 Stealth range. A range of steel and graphite shaft options are available in various flexes so whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced player; we have clubs to suit your game and enhance your Gullane experience.

Ladies’ and Gents’ right handed equipment is available as well as Gents’ left handed equipment. Ladies’ left handed equipment is currently not available to hire.

For 2023 the cost of hire is £50 per round or £75 per day for our premium sets which includes:

Stealth Driver

Stealth Fairway Woods

Stealth Hybrid

Stealth Irons 5-SW

Spider GT Putter

For 2024 the cost of hire is £55 per round or £85 per day for our premium sets.

MOTORISED BUGGIES* 

FOR MEDICAL USE ONLY - 2 seater motorised Club Car buggies can be hired via the Pro Shop and early booking is advisable.

For 2023 the rate is £45 per round and £75 per day.

For 2024 the rate is £50 per round and £80 per day.

PUSH/PULL TROLLEYS

Can be hired via the Pro Shop.

The 2023 rate is £8 for the round or day. 

The 2024 rate is £9 for the round or day. 

Wide wheeled pull/push trolleys only are allowed and should not be taken on to tees or beyond marked lines beside greens.  Wide wheeled trolleys can accommodate all golf bags.

The Pro Shop has in stock a large quantity of push/pull trolleys. During peak times, however, supplies may be in high demand so if you need a trolley in order to play, you should check in advance with the Pro Shop whether prior booking is required.

ELECTRIC TROLLEYS

For 2023 the rate is £20 per round and £35 per day.

For 2024 the rate is £22 per round and £40 per day.

The Pro Shop have a fleet of the latest GPS Powakaddy battery powered electric trolleys that will make the climb up the Gullane Hill that little bit easier. All trolleys are supplied with a 36-hole lithium battery, meaning you won’t need to recharge at lunch if you are playing two rounds in a day.

Electric trolleys are available to hire up to 2.30pm in the summer months and to 12.00pm in the winter (deposit may be required.)

CADDIES

The 2024 rate is £60 per round plus gratuity.

The Club has a number of caddies available. Caddies are available on prior request, and although they cannot be guaranteed, every effort will be made to fulfill your requirements. The caddies are self employed and and therefore must be paid direct in cash.

The Club does not permit forecaddies. Caddies are allocated to individual players. The employing player must identify themselves to the Starter ahead of being introduced to the caddie.

CADDIE CANCELLATION POLICY

Our caddies are self-employed and depend on caddying and gratuities to make a living.  Many of them also have to travel from outwith Gullane to work.  With this in mind, should any golfer(s) cancel their caddie booking on the day of play, the full £60 fee will be chargeable and payable to the caddie in question. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation should this unfortunate scenario occur.
